静岡県 御前崎観光
Omaezaki City is located at the southernmost tip of Shizuoka, and is an area with palm tree streets that give it a faraway feel.
The area around our hotel at the tip of the cape includes the Omaezaki Lighthouse, the symbol of Omaezaki, the Shiosai Statue (a platform from which you can see the sunset and wind), which is said to be a sacred place for lovers, Omaezaki Long Beach, a mecca for surfing, and a beach. There are many attractions such as Marine Park Omaezaki, which also has a campground.
This cape is a rare spot where you can see the sunrise and sunset in the same area, and it is also a very beautiful place that has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 places to see both sunsets and sunrises.
Also, since Omaezaki Port is nearby, it is a treasure trove of seafood, and you can enjoy bonito and whitebait at Nabura Market.
It is also famous for its flowers, and the line of Kawazu cherry trees that bloom in Hamaoka Sand Dunes Shirasuna Park from early February to early March is a must-see.
